Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, Tanzania. After completing customs formalities, meet your Hedsa Adventures safari driver, who will be waiting to welcome you with a sign bearing your name. You will then be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight to the Serengeti. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Gran Melia Hotel on a half-board basis before continuing your adventure the following day.
After breakfast, set out for the drive to Arusha Airport to catch your connecting flight to Serengeti National Park. The name “Serengeti,” derived from the Maasai language, translates to “endless plains.” On your way, you can choose to visit a Maasai Village—an excellent opportunity to experience Maasai culture firsthand and take part in traditional activities. Alternatively, explore the historic Olduvai Gorge, often called the Cradle of Humanity, where the museum showcases the incredible journey of humankind from its ancient beginnings in East Africa to today.
